   Welcome to Village Homeschool!

VHS is a non- profit school that provides free English classes and few more soft skills to village’s children which basically located in South Srah Srang village, Nokor Thom commune, Siem Reap-Cambodia. We opened English classes and a few other training skills from kiddies up to adults who want to learn and improve their knowledge. Our aim is to help  build confidence in young Cambodians to stay motivated and achieve their future life goals  through education.

Our current school hours are Mon-Fri  from 5:00-8:00pm. We have 7 big classes and each of our classes contain at least 50 students all of who come from different villages in our commune. Around 80% of our students are from very poor families and their parents can’t even afford to buy basic school supplies & other things needed for school.

 

Our goal:

• To develop our community through education and skills training for impoverished children and adults.
• To enhance and inspire our young generation to value education.
• To help community children to learn English to improve future career opportunities.
• To reduce poverty through education.
• To assist poor communities that are less fortunate.

Vision:

• We believe community lives will improve in the future through better education at our Village Homeschool.
• Students are educated up to high school at least but can benefit from English language education as a communication language in a predominantly Tourist town
• Help young Cambodians stay motivated and to give them the tools & strategies they need to build a successful future through education.

Mission:

• Provide Free English classes
• Provide short course training for the community
• Provide necessary study materials for all students.
• Inspire creativity with students.
• Exchange visits to other NGOs or schools to share ideas & knowledge.
• Create extra activities (sport, music, painting, art, and etc)
